No live Black Friday offers yet

Hosting providers announce Black Friday pricing in the first half of November. We will not list placeholder “deals” before then, and we will not repeat last year’s numbers as if they were current. This page fills in when the offers are real. What follows is the arithmetic you need in order to judge them the moment they appear.

The dates

Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November. Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November. Hosting is not retail, though, and the sales rarely respect those two days: providers have historically opened in the first half of November and kept the pricing live past Cyber Monday, sometimes into December. That has a practical consequence — there is usually no rush on the Friday itself, and the deepest hosting discounts are not reliably the ones that appear first. We will date-stamp each provider’s offer here as it goes live, so you can see how long the window actually stayed open rather than trusting a countdown timer.

What a Black Friday discount is actually worth

This is the table nobody else publishes, and it is the one that decides whether a November offer is worth acting on. A hosting discount applies to the introductory term only. The renewal rate does not move. So the value of any discount is capped by how many months the promo term covers — and that varies by a factor of four between these providers.

The fourth column is the honest unit of measurement: what one dollar off the monthly intro rate is worth to you in total. It is simply the promo term in months, because that is how long the discount lasts. The last two columns work a realistic example through: a third off the current intro rate, and what that saves across six years of actually running the site.

Host & planIntro nowPromo termEvery $1/mo off savesA third off savesShare of a six-year bill
HostingerPremium $2.99/mo 48 mo $48 $48 11.8%
HostingerUnlimited $3.99/mo 48 mo $48 $63.84 10.7%
HostingerCloud Startup $7.99/mo 48 mo $48 $127.68 12.7%
BluehostStarter $3.99/mo 36 mo $36 $47.88 9.5%
BluehostBusiness $6.99/mo 36 mo $36 $83.88 11.1%
SiteGroundStartUp $2.99/mo 12 mo $12 $12 1.1%
SiteGroundGrowBig $4.99/mo 12 mo $12 $19.92 1.1%

“A third off” applies a 33% cut to the current introductory rate, rounded to the nearest cent, and leaves the renewal rate unchanged — which is how hosting promotions work. The last column expresses that saving as a share of six years of hosting at the published rates. Current prices verified September 2026. See the screenshots these figures were read from.

The SiteGround paradox

SiteGround advertises the steepest-looking discount of the three shared hosts — StartUp runs from $2.99 to $17.99, a 502% jump — and it is the provider on which a Black Friday deal is worth the least. Its promo term is 12 months, so a third off the intro rate saves $12, against a six-year bill of $1,115.28. The intro term is only 3.2% of what you will actually pay. On Hostinger Premium the same proportional discount is worth $48, because the promo term is four years rather than one.

Read that the right way round: it is not an argument for Hostinger’s Black Friday offer, it is an argument that the term, not the discount, is what you are really buying.

How to judge a Black Friday hosting deal

  1. Check the renewal rate first. A headline that drops from $2.99 to $1.49 is meaningless if the renewal is unchanged. You are saving on one year out of four or five.
  2. Check the term. The biggest November discounts are usually attached to 48-month prepayments. Work out the total, not the monthly figure.
  3. Compare against the standing offer. Hosting is discounted year-round. Some Black Friday prices are only marginally better than what was available in October — which is why the current prices are published further down this page.
  4. Watch the free domain. It is free for a year and renews at $19.99–$23.99, and on some hosts its cost is deducted if you take a refund.
  5. Check what your existing host will do in November. A subscription that auto-renews at full price in the same month cancels out the saving entirely.
Our standing view

Black Friday is a genuinely good time to buy hosting if you were going to buy hosting anyway and you are confident about the term. It is a poor reason to commit four years to a project you started last week.

Do the arithmetic once, in advance

Here is the shape of the trap, using real numbers from the table below. Hostinger Premium is $2.99 a month on a 48-month term and renews at $10.99. Suppose November takes the intro rate to $1.99. That is a 33% cut to the headline, and over the 48-month term it saves you exactly $48. But the renewal rate does not move, so across six years you pay $359.28 instead of $407.28 — an 11.8% saving on the number that actually leaves your account. The discount applies only to the intro term, which is about 35% of a six-year bill and shrinks every year you stay.

What to expect from each provider

The term is the variable worth watching, because it decides how much of your total the discount touches.

  • Hostinger discounts hardest and locks longest. Its standing intro term is already 48 months; a November offer deeper than that is buying you a fifth year at most.
  • Bluehost runs 36-month intro terms. Its renewal rates ($9.99 Starter, $13.99 Business) are the lowest of the three shared hosts, so the gap between intro and renewal is smaller and a November discount matters proportionally less. A dollar off the intro rate is worth $36 here against Hostinger’s $48.
  • SiteGround commits for only 12 months but renews hardest — StartUp goes from $2.99 to $17.99. A Black Friday discount here is genuinely a one-year discount, and you face the full renewal next November regardless.
  • Cloudways cannot run this play at all. With no promotional term there is nothing to lock you into; its November promotions are a percentage off the hourly rate for a fixed number of months, after which the public list rate resumes unchanged.

Current pricing, for reference

This is what the plans cost today. When November offers appear, you will be able to measure them against these numbers rather than against a marketing claim. These figures were read from each provider’s own pricing page on 20 September 2026 and screenshotted — see the September 2026 price check for the evidence.

Intro prices require paying the full promo term upfront. “4-year true cost” is the promo term at the intro rate plus the remaining months at the renewal rate — the number the pricing page does not show you. Verified September 2026. See the screenshots these figures were read from.

A checklist for the week itself

  1. Write down your current renewal date and rate now, before the sales start. The single most expensive mistake in November is buying a four-year term on a new host while an existing subscription quietly auto-renews alongside it.
  2. Decide your term before you see the price. The discount is designed to move you up a term bracket; deciding afterwards means the offer decided for you.
  3. Screenshot the offer page. Introductory terms change during a sale, and the page you bought from is the one that described what you agreed to.
  4. Check the refund window, not just the refund. SiteGround, Bluehost and Hostinger all differ on what is deducted and how long you have.
  5. Work out the four-year total using the table above before you enter a card number. If the total is worse than what you pay now, the discount is not a saving.

Common questions

When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday falls on Friday 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November 2026. Hosting companies rarely confine their sales to those two days: offers have historically opened in the first half of November and run past Cyber Monday. We date-stamp each provider's offer on this page as it is published rather than predicting it.

Do Black Friday hosting deals reduce the renewal price?

Normally no. The discount applies to the introductory term only, and the renewal rate is set separately. Hostinger Premium renews at $10.99 a month whether you paid $2.99 or a Black Friday rate, so a deeper November discount shortens nothing and changes nothing after the promo term ends.

How much does a Black Friday hosting discount actually save?

It depends almost entirely on the length of the promotional term, because that is how many months the discount touches. A third off the intro rate saves $48 on Hostinger Premium's 48-month term but only $12 on SiteGround StartUp's 12-month term — 1.1% of what SiteGround StartUp costs over six years.

Should I buy a four-year hosting term on Black Friday?

Only if you are confident the site will still exist in four years and that you will not want to move. The November discounts are deepest on the longest terms precisely because the long term is what the provider is buying from you. For a project started in the last few months, a shorter term at a worse headline rate is usually the cheaper mistake.

Do Black Friday prices apply to an account I already have?

Introductory pricing is advertised for new signups, and an existing subscription that auto-renews during the sale normally renews at the standard rate. If you intend to switch hosts in November, check the renewal date on the account you are leaving before you buy the new one.

Is the free domain included in Black Friday hosting deals really free?

It is free for the first year and then renews at roughly $19.99 to $23.99. On some hosts the retail value of the domain is deducted from your refund if you cancel within the money-back window, so a “free” domain can reduce what you get back.
